States of service: Oregon (Client must physically be in Oregon at time of assessment) These services are specifically designed for adults/young adults who are highly verbal, curious about their own masking/neurodivergence in this area, and desiring a full clinical assessment. Shelby has completed training on neurodiversity-affirming assessment by, and is in consultation with, Method's founder, Lindsey Mackereth, MA, LPCC, LADC. |
Meet Shelby.
Shelby Leigh (she/her) is a therapist, assessor, and consultant, and Licensed Professional Counselor. Her methodology is a seamless weave of nervous system regulation and co-regulation support, somatic practices, attachment theory, and approaches every thing she does through a deeply trauma informed lens - seeing each human as whole, unique and important.
Her compassionate and skilled way of sitting with clients comes from much of her own journey and view as a neurodiverse human - curious, attuned and wildly open-hearted.
When away from work, you’ll find her driving down a dirt road, taking in gorgeous views, road-tripping, wandering in the woods, rafting a river, midnight canoe stargazing, flying somewhere tropical, typing half-written memoirs, taking long naps, chasing sunsets and asking herself frequently “what is the MOST loving thing I can do in this moment?”
