Hi! I’m Allison, a therapist at Method Creative, and I’m so glad you’re here. Finding a therapist you click with is critically important to the whole endeavor, so by doing your research you’re already off to a good start.
I see therapy as a deeply collaborative and inherently creative process. My clients and I work together as a team to help them process the past, navigate the present, and grow towards a future of their own design. No one else has been exactly where you’ve been, and while it’s up to you where you go next, having the right support can make a world of difference. My goal is to help you understand yourself more fully, allowing you to make intentional choices that lead to a truly fulfilling, ever-evolving life. Collaborating with a wide range of bright brains was the best part of my previous job as an art director in the advertising industry, and over time it became clear to me that creative-minded people operate differently – which, in a world built for conformity, can sometimes create internal and external conflict. These challenges and the opportunities for growth they presented became increasingly compelling to me, and in 2018 I went back to school at the University of St. Thomas to learn how to be an effective partner in a therapeutic setting. Since then I have worked with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, panic, OCD, trauma, grief, identity, interpersonal, and marital issues, career changes, neurodivergence, giftedness, and a host of other challenges. I couldn’t be more excited to serve this community. If you have any questions or think we’d be a good fit, give me a shout. Allison's Rates
